Heritage – Art for Land’s Sake

On September 28 and 29, the Palmer Land Trust mounted an impressive exhibition of work by thirty-five Colorado artists. The show was a great success with exuberant crowds and strong sales. (I sold two of the three paintings I entered.) Forty percent of the proceeds went to support the great work of the Palmer Land Trust which acquires conservation easements on private lands in the Pikes Peak region and throughout southeast Colorado. To date, the Trust has over 60,000 acres protected by easements including eleven public recreation areas. To learn more about the PLT, go to

Palmer Land Trust

Thank you to everyone who attended and especially to those who purchased art and made this show a great success. And thank you to the members and volunteers of the Palmer Land Trust who made this event a reality.

Painting Naked?

Last week I did something I never thought I’d do: a painting demonstration in public. Read all about it in my Journal.

Upcoming Shows

5th Annual Artists’ Studio Tour and Sale

This is it! The Studio Tour is right around the corner. Mark your calendars for Saturday, 11/10 and Sunday, 11/11. There will be new studios and artists as well as old favorites. See artists' working environments. It will be a weekend of great fun to get the holidays off to a good start.

I’ll have a painting going in the studio, and a pot of Posole on the stove. And of course, there will be lots of art on the walls: paintings, prints, monotypes, watercolors, and drawings. For more info, go to the Announcements page on my website.

Guest Book

I’ve added a guest book where you can share your thoughts, comments, and contact information. I always welcome your thoughts on the artwork. You can visit the guest book on the website or click Guest Book.

Thanks to everyone who has sent me their thoughts. Stay in touch.

Prints

I am now offering an expanded collection of giclee prints. These are archival-quality reproductions of my original paintings. They come in a wide range of sizes on paper or canvas. They are impressive in their faithfulness to the original work. New prints include “Gathering Storm” and “Sunrise in the Garden.” To see the entire collection, go to Prints on the website.

Thank You

I appreciate your interest in my work. Next time you’re in Colorado, stop in my studio for a visit.
