On the Road
Our November road trip to
Arizona has already yielded several paintings of the Sonoran desert
around Tucson (see above). Sometimes it takes a long time to “see” the
painting in an image. I’ve been visiting the desert for many years and
taken hundreds of photos, often of the same subject. I only now feel
like I’m starting to see it in terms of painting.
For the past couple of
months, we’ve stayed local, with several mini road trips. Here are a
