Sundown

An old filling station, ghostly in twilight, passed into night many years ago.

News

In April, Patrice and I journeyed to Utah to hike in Grand Gulch for several days. More about that in the journal.

I am honored to have had a painting accepted for the 2009 Peace of Mind calendar published by the Carson J. Spencer Foundation. The calendar, featuring prominent Colorado artists, will be distributed nationally.

Six words for Manuel: Alive, awake, playing in the sandbox.

Journal

Latest entry: Creative Quicksand

Read the adventures (and non-adventures) of an artist. What’s the story behind the paintings? Every event is shockingly true. Read the Journal if you dare.

Right now in the Studio…

Our backpacking trip cut seriously into studio time last month. But finally, I got started on a large painting of Zion Canyon based on a recent study. This has been a challenging painting, but I think it’s getting there.  See the finished painting here next month.
