News I’ve got in ten straight weeks of plein-air painting in the hot sun … and having fun.

“Bratz and Fine Art” The annual Bratz and Fine Art benefit is coming up September 10 at the Garden of the Gods Trading Post in Manitou Springs. Funds raised benefit the Manitou Springs Public Library. This will be my third year participating in this popular event.
Wednesday, September 10, 5 :00 - 7:30 pm Garden of the Gods Trading Post 324 Beckers Lane Manitou Springs, CO $15 per ticket at the door Beer, wine, bratz, music, and of course, great art
“Art for Land Sake” An annual fundraiser for the Palmer Land Trust. A percentage of each sale goes toward purchasing conservation easements to preserve lands in southeast Colorado. Last year’s show was an exciting event with sales raising thousands of dollars. I will have three paintings in the show this year, including “Twilight at the Paint Mines” (above).
