Mike's Summer Studio Sale is on hold!

A broken arm has put me on the bench. It's not too serious, but I have to avoid using that arm for the next few weeks. That means I can't do much of the physical labor involved in preparing for the sale. So the sale is on hold until I'm mended.

The good news is my painting arm is not involved, so I can keep painting.

Down but not out! A broken bone couldn't keep me away from the canyons of Utah.

In the Studio and On the Road
Two things slowed down my painting schedule in the studio in May. One was my broken arm. Even though I could still paint, it really slowed me down.
The other thing was our nine-day trip to Utah to collect more imagery. It was a week of rain and even snow, but I still got some good images for future paintings.

Looking ahead to June, I hope to have the use of my arm back, so I can pick up the painting schedule and get going on some larger paintings.

I've been working on a series of small paintings. Can't lift the larger ones. Dang!

On the Road
In May we took a nine-day road trip to southern Utah seeking new painting imagery. In spite of the rain, I got some good stuff.
