Thank you to everyone who visited the Summer Studio Sale, especially all of you who purchased artwork. You made the sale a great success. It is a great feeling to know that things I created are bringing enjoyment and peace to people's lives. And, we enjoyed seeing and hearing from our old friends and meeting new ones. Now, it's back to the easel.

In the Studio
Back to work in the studio.
A new painting takes shape.
I spent the first half of June going through photos from our May Utah trip, selecting likely subjects, cropping and editing the images to use as a reference for paintings. I took hundreds of photos, so it took awhile.
The second half of June was all about getting ready for the Studio Sale, finishing paintings, framing and hanging, even cleaning the studio (got to clean at least once a year).
The first part of July was the Studio Sale. While it was still mostly an online event, I did open the studio up to visitors. It's so nice to have people in the studio. BTW, you are welcome to visit any time.
I also got going on some larger paintings in July. They will be heading to Manitou Galleries in Santa Fe in August.
